Mkréa creates timeless luxury womenswear for all women who want to express themselves in style.

 

We are a sustainable, Black-woman owned company founded by two best friends, Mamy Sanou and Marlène Gaoué, who have a vision to bring African luxury fashion to the world. Mamy's creative vision and sewing skills and Marléne's strategic savvy are a powerful combination which have brough Mkréa to life as a high quality, fashion-forward brand.

 

Mkréa clothing takes inspiration from the catwalks of Paris, France to the beaches of Dakar, Senegal. We aim to be ethical and sustainable in all we do. Our supply chain presents an ode to Africa, where it's our goal to create an abundance of opportunity. We infuse African heritage into every design. Our fabrics, mainly silk, are locally sourced. We reuse scraps to add detail in the form of a sleeve, collar or clasp. Each product is handmade in Senegal by fairly-paid local artisans and shipped from Paris straight to the customer. From end-to-end, we put people first.
